Graz, Austria – St. Mary’s Syro Malabar Community (SMC Graz) prayerfully conducted the Way of the Cross at Kalvarienberg, Graz, with the participation of more than 50 faithful.
The devotion was reverently led by Fr. Joel Koyikkara OFMConv, accompanied by two Malayali deacons from Vienna. The presence and guidance of the Vicar added to the spiritual depth of the celebration.
A special highlight of the event was the Malayalam Way of the Cross prayers, beautifully led by the church choir, which made the entire experience more prayerful and spiritually enriching.
The active participation of the youth, especially those living away from their homeland, was truly appreciable. Their involvement reflected a strong commitment to faith and community, even while being far from home.
The serene setting of Kalvarienberg enhanced the atmosphere of reflection, allowing participants to meditate deeply on the passion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
