A joyful new beginning for the youth ministry of St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Community Graz was officially inaugurated during the blessed occasion of REJOICE 2026, the Spiritual Renewal Gathering held on 24 May 2026 in Graz, Austria.
The official SMYM Graz Instagram Page was prayerfully launched by Rev. Fr. Binoj Mulavarickal in the presence of Fr. Joel Koyikkara OFMConv, Vicar of St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Community Graz. The launch marked an important milestone for the youth community of SMC Graz and reflected a renewed vision for strengthening youth participation, communication, and faith formation through digital platforms.
This initiative aims to create a vibrant space where young people can stay connected with the spiritual and community life of SMC Graz through updates, reflections, youth activities, media content, and announcements. The launch also symbolized a fresh beginning for SMYM Graz in embracing creative and faith-centered evangelization through social media.
The initiative and coordination of the Instagram page launch were led by Amal Parunthamplavil, and Anila Manayathra, Youth Coordinators of SMC Graz. St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Community Graz expresses special appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to both coordinators for their dedication, vision, and sincere efforts in bringing this initiative to reality and encouraging greater youth involvement within the community.
The gathering during REJOICE 2026 reflected the enthusiasm, unity, and active participation of the youth and opened a new chapter for SMYM Graz in its mission of nurturing faith, fellowship, and leadership among young people.
