Monthly Holy Qurbana – June 2026 Celebrated at St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Community, Graz
Graz, Austria | 28 June 2026
The faithful of St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Community, Graz, gathered in prayer on Sunday, 28 June 2026, for the community’s Monthly Holy Qurbana, celebrating the Holy Eucharist in an atmosphere of faith, devotion, and fellowship.
The Holy Qurbana was solemnly celebrated by Rev. Fr. James Ponnambel, who serves in Geneva, Switzerland. Fr. James, the brother of Rev. Fr. Mathew Ponnambel, accepted the community’s invitation and was the main celebrant for the Eucharistic celebration.
The Holy Qurbana was concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Tino Joseph and Rev. Fr. Mathew Ponnambel, who faithfully serves the St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Community in Graz.
At the beginning of the celebration, the community’s Vicar, Rev. Fr. Joel Koyikkara, extended a heartfelt welcome to Fr. James on behalf of the entire community. He thanked him for taking the time to visit Graz and celebrate the Holy Qurbana, despite his pastoral commitments in Switzerland.
During his homily, Fr. James shared a spiritually enriching message, encouraging the faithful to deepen their relationship with Christ and remain steadfast in their faith. His inspiring words touched the hearts of those gathered and made the celebration a truly grace-filled experience.
The community expresses its sincere gratitude to Fr. James for his visit, his inspiring homily, and his prayerful celebration of the Holy Qurbana. We also thank Fr. Tino Joseph and Fr. Mathew Ponnambel for their dedicated ministry and continued service to our community.
May the Lord continue to bless all our priests abundantly as they faithfully serve God’s people.
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us always.”
